Crystal Reed
Wealth Management Advisor
Crystal brings over a decade of experience serving private business owners in her prior career; building lasting relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and follow-through. She approaches every client relationship through a fiduciary lens, committed to putting their interests first and delivering thoughtful, comprehensive guidance across every facet of their financial lives.
As part of Andrew Johnsen's veteran-led team at Waterloo Capital, Crystal leverages the full strength of the firm's boutique platform, sophisticated investment capabilities, and advanced technology to deliver personalized strategies designed for long-term success. She is passionate about being the trusted advisor clients call when something needs to get done and done right.
Before transitioning into wealth management, Crystal spent nearly 13 years working alongside Fire Protection contractors across TX, AR, LA, KS, NE, IA, MO, and FL. As an account manager and sales representative, she negotiated on behalf of her clients and supported the success of their projects as if they were her own.
Earlier in her career, Crystal served as a Property Manager at The Marketing Arm, acting as a liaison between AT&T and multiple professional and collegiate sports teams across the North Central region. She worked closely with corporate and local marketing teams to fully activate sponsorship assets, driving engagement and long-term brand impact through creative, outside-the-box thinking.
Outside of work, Crystal stays connected to her Kansas roots as a lifelong Jayhawk and avid Chiefs and Royals fan. She enjoys pilates, skiing, golfing, pickleball, time on the water, and tending to her home landscaping and indoor plants.
