Don Simoneaux, CAIA

Don is President and Chief Investment Officer at Waterloo Capital, where he leads the firm's investment platform, including public markets and alternative investment strategies. Over the past 15 years at Waterloo, he has played a key role in the firm's growth, helping build both its alternative investment platform and internal asset management capabilities into core components of the organization's offering to advisors and clients. Don is based at the firm's headquarter location in Austin, TX.

Prior to joining Waterloo, Don was a Senior Investment Analyst in the Non-Marketable Alternative Assets group at Cambridge Associates in Boston, where he specialized in private markets investment research for the firm's institutional clientele.

Don is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Loyola University New Orleans.
